Just wanted show some pics of my CX2 with a boom kit from boomtownhobbies. I feel no difference in flight performance, so this mod is mainly cosmetic. The boom holder attaches with the stock carbon body mount and then servo taped to the servos. The o-ring that stretches from the chassis to the boom fin helps keep the boom from vibrating. It is much easier to change batteries without the stock rear body getting in the way.

I also installed a set of gunmetal color skids from BT to match the fins.

Do you mean the CP Pro?

The CX2 has been a breeze to fly. And my house has enough random crap scattered around to keep flying a challenge. My next mod will be to make a new battery holder so I can run my higher capacity packs.

that's sweet bro! Looks killer. I'm gonna order an aluminum lower head next week. I've been through two stockers so far.

They finally started shipping them? Sweet! The aluminum lower head and swashplate are next on the shopping list.

Congrats on the CP Pro TJ. I hope you have better luck with it than I did. I simply do not possess the thumbs or pocketbook to learn how to fly it, at least not right now. :surrender

Sweet looking bird! I am just saving up the cash to get one but am torn between the CX2 and the CP Pro. What is the pros of a lower head, or is it a cosmetic thing?

The heads are molded plastic and have little tabs which slide into the the blades to keep them secure.. problem is that the tabs are easily broken off if the blade hits something before you get to throttle down. The aluminum parts won't break in that type of situation. I'd rather replace a blade than a head.

Very cool.....I wish I could fly........I think I dont have the patience for it.

Saw the CX2 at the hobbie store today....I was tempted....but I am saving for a Truggy.

Do you have any videos of you flying it Sweet?
