I am curious to what every one has heard about the dropping birds in Arkansas. I have heard quite a few things, some disturbing, some facts. Lets make this thread about the birds. I found a huge relation to that issue and the movie "The Core" but more on the lines of Project H.A.R.R.P. what has everyone heard?? Our news cast seems to think it is not important, i beg to differ. Some think its a prophecy, some say it is due to a chemical smuggled in and sprayed on there crops, i have heard both that they died due to blunt force trauma, as well as there organs being liquefied, what have you heard? :)

Wildlife Die-Offs are Relatively Common, Recent Bird Deaths Caused by Impact Trauma

Large wildlife die-off events are fairly common, though they should never be ignored, according to the U.S. Geological Survey scientists whose preliminary tests showed that the bird deaths in Arkansas on New Year's Eve and those in Louisiana were caused by impact trauma.

Preliminary findings from the USGS National Wildlife Health Center's Arkansas bird analyses suggest that the birds died from impact trauma, and these findings are consistent with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission's statement. The State concluded that such trauma was probably a result of the birds being startled by loud noises on the night of Dec. 31, arousing them and causing them to fly into objects such as houses or trees. Scientists at the USGS NWHC performed necropsies—the animal version of an autopsy—on the birds and found internal hemorrhaging, while the pesticide tests they conducted were negative. Results from further laboratory tests are expected to be completed in 2-3 weeks.

"Although wildlife die-offs always pose a concern, they are not all that unusual," said Jonathan Sleeman, director of the USGS NWHC in Madison, Wis., which is completing its analyses of the Arkansas and Louisiana birds. "It's important to study and understand what happened in order to determine if we can prevent mortality events from happening again."

In 2010, the USGS NWHC documented eight die-off events of 1,000 or more birds. The causes: starvation, avian cholera, Newcastle disease and parasites, according to Sleeman. Such records show that, while the causes of death may vary, events like the red-winged blackbird die-off in Beebe, Ark., and the smaller one near Baton Rouge, La., are more common than people may realize.

And Sleeman should know – he directs a staff of scientists whose primary purpose is to investigate the nation's wildlife diseases from avian influenza to plague and white-nose syndrome in bats.

"The USGS NWHC provides information, technical assistance, research, education, and leadership on national and international wildlife health issues," Sleeman added.

According to USGS NWHC records, there have been 188 mortality events across the country involving 1,000 birds or more during the past 10 years (2000 - 2010). In 2009, individual events included one in which 50,000 birds died from avian botulism in Utah; 20,000 from the same disease in Idaho; and 10,000 bird deaths in Washington from a harmful algal bloom.

Mass mortality events occur in other animal populations as well, according to the USGS NWHC. For example, prairie dog colonies in the West can be destroyed by sylvatic plague, which can then kill off the highly endangered black-footed ferret that preys on prairie dogs exclusively. The USGS NWHC is involved with developing vaccines, delivered through bait, which can immunize prairie dogs against plague.

In the 1970's and 1980's, most USGS NWHC die-off investigations involved large numbers of waterfowl deaths from avian cholera, avian botulism, and lead poisoning; in the 1990's, the USGS NWHC was highly involved in investigating the emergence of West Nile virus in North America. In 2008, the USGS NWHC discovered the cause of white-nose syndrome, a fungal disease that has devastated cave hibernating bat species in the Northeastern U.S.

Public reporting of wildlife mortality events is important, and in 2010, the USGS Wildlife Disease Information Node initiated an experimental reporting system to facilitate this. Visit here.

More information on the USGS NWHC and its involvement in the recent bird die-off events can be found on the NWHC web site.

All I know is the whole thing was creepy to me. I watched alot about it on the news for a few days after it happened and just couldnt believe it, definitely something you would see on a movie but not in real life.

Fireworks my a$$!! A mile radius, 5,000 birds, all managed to directly impact a stop sign, telephone poll, and neighbors houses, musical chairs, scared by fireworks, common, "get real"

Yeah lol I would have to agree.

Right! It is odd, and a lot of people have suspicion over the project harrp thing, some think the high frequency system could cause 5,000 birds to drop if done right.

Yeah, it's very odd to say the least. Remember the thing with the bees last year just dying off too? I've never been much of a conspiracy theorist, and used to laugh at people that were when I was younger. Now that I'm getting older, and paying much more attention to things going on outside my little world, I'm starting to deliberate on how much tin foil it takes to wrap an apartment building. :hehe:

Which would also explain the blunt force trauma, where they say the frequency system would act in that way, some say it could be adjusted to either cause them to blow and die, or fry there brains to become numb, sounds like a joke but look it up the machine is serious freaky stuff, a lot think it has caused earth quakes over in china, along the coast all being the same magnitude, and also have suspicion of it steering one of these past hurricanes...

The bees is where the chemical theory came in, because of a chemical arkansas likes to use on there crops, the chemical was banned when they found it killed beans, and they wanted to believe the chemical was smuggled in and caused the birds to die, witch is not correct where the autopsy found it was force trauma...

Correction: Project H.A.A.R.P. - NOT: H.A.R.R.P. **

Humor me and google the theories on project haarp, one of the first is birds and fish dieing simultaneously ...

HAARP is the subject of numerous conspiracy theories, with individuals ascribing various hidden motives and capabilities to the project. Journalist Sharon Weinberger called HAARP "the Moby peepee of conspiracy theories" and said the popularity of conspiracy theories often overshadows the benefits HAARP may provide to the scientific community.[15][3] Skeptic computer scientist David Naiditch called HAARP "a magnet for conspiracy theorists", saying the project has been blamed for triggering catastrophes such as floods, droughts, hurricanes, thunderstorms, and devastating earthquakes in Pakistan and the Philippines aimed to "shake up" terrorists. Naiditch says HAARP has been blamed for diverse events including major power outages, the downing of TWA Flight 800, Gulf War syndrome, and chronic fatigue syndrome. Conspiracy theorists have also suggested links between HAARP and the work of Nikola Tesla (particularly potential combinations of HAARP energy with Tesla's work on pneumatic small-scale earthquake generation) and physicist Bernard Eastlund. According to Naiditch, HAARP is an attractive target for conspiracy theorists because "its purpose seems deeply mysterious to the scientifically uninformed".[16] Also a 1999 report to the European Parliament stated that HAARP is a "weapon system which disrupts the climate".[17] Conspiracy theorists have blamed HAARP for numerous earthquakes. An opinion piece on a Venezuelan state-run television channel's website named HAARP as a cause of the 2010 Haiti earthquake

Shortly after the 5,000 blackbirds fell from the sky, there was a town in Louisiana, I believe, where 500 different types of birds were found dead in the same area. The answer to that was that they had hit power lines since they all had damage to either their beaks, wings or legs.
Gee, ya think maybe they got damaged by falling from the sky?

If someone isn't testing some new type of radio wave, it would have to be chemical. If these incidents of birds and fish were normal and had common causes, we would have heard of it every single year.

You know something is up when they don't want to talk about it haha, yeah i thought the chemical thing sounded legit, but if the arkansas birds died from force trauma, then the chemicals would be out, someone tried to tell me it was a "cloaked ship" came through too fast and creamed them all haha, witch i guess if there were "aliens and ufo's" it could make sense where they believe ufo's fly by splitting matter and just sliding down hill, where splitting matter and the presence of anti-mater could confuse the birds calling them out, to be hit by a ufo, haha, in humor, lets say the ufo was a nitro with a supercharger, and was doing 250mph, headed to space, the birds wanted to see and got creamed, ha, i don't know, funny but not funny, the ufo thing cracked me up...:)

There was like 100k fish found dead at the same time close to there wasn't there?

First, if they say that the birds died from blunt force trauma, I would say it's plausible.
THEY FELL FROM THE SKY, UNABLE TO CONTROL THEIR DESCENT.
ANYTHING that falls from the sky will end up with blunt force trauma. The didn't get the blunt force trauma from hitting a cloud, they got it from hitting the ground.

I'd also like to mention that I recently read somewhere that superchargers suck.

I still think the fireworks thing is complete hog wash, if they can dodge the fireworks, I'm sure they can dodge a telephone pole, i have almost hit them in my car and they just pull matrix stuff, "pull up, pull up, mayday mayday pull up" and then there they go vrooom right past the car no impact, they must have been sleep flying that night, or at least the scientists would believe that, too much chiba for the birds the night before haha :)

That would make sense, falling from the sky, no dodging the ground i would say...and i did hear something on the fish, not much but I'm sure it did happen...

Look up the video of the bird that survived, kept walking in circles, no chirps, no drive to fly, just all "discombobulated" and confused, walking in circles, was very odd, birds brain definitely was misfiring somewhere....

I found a youtube video that said 10,000 fish died along with the 5,000 birds.....

I think some of the scientists that are claiming the blunt force thing have some blunt force trauma themselves, from being dropped on their head a few too many times as infants.

Great, where were you with this tidbit an hour ago when I ordered a .32 big block, supercharger, and NOS for my Micro T? I'm shooting for breaking the
speed of sound . :hehe:

All the birds upgraded to......you guessed it, SUPERCHARGERS, on the test run, there engines failed, and they went down....

They should have signed up for rcnt, and asked everyone about the supers before getting them, then they may have been talked out of it, i think the superchargers thread should be stickied, that would talk anyone out of getting one!

Rolex, you know better than that. Everyone knows that superchargers don't suck, they blow (Remember the slang term blowers). :D:D:D:D
