Now that i've got my picco .26 installed, i'm not so impressed with the top end.I hate to say it,but i think my 3.3 was faster.I still have the integy pipe installed that came with my original 2.5. I'm not quite ready to denounce the picco;until i have replaced the pipe and header.Looking for exprienced advice on a tuned pipe for the picco,maybe something a LHS might have in stock(dreaming).Price is no object for the right muff.:p:

Check out the photos of my T maxx on that page. what i am using there is an OFNA 053, with a Savage Header. to adapt the Savage header to the back of the picco i am using a savage gasket stacked with the header gasket for a THS Pipe. that gasket is here. the only place i had trouble was clearing the shock on that side which is why i ran it over top like that.

To me, this made a huuuge difference in performance in this engine. it lets it breathe a lot easier and the 053 is perfectly matched to this engine. you can find youtube vids of this pipe//engine combo and it rips.

You will be hard pressed to squeeze more rpm’s out of the .26 than you can get from the 3.3 with just a pipe upgrade.

To go faster you will want to take advantage of the more torque the .26 has and gear the CB/SG accordingly.

A good pipe also never hurts in the quest for speed.
 
Snook man is absolutely right. The only thing that a pipe will do is allow you to customize what rpm range the engine comes on pipe at.

Indeed I agree with you Rolex...the right muff makes ALL the difference. Oh did I mention I got the wife over to Korea with me now?
 
Why Oh...I had the wife bring my THS exhaust for my Revo from my stuff in storage. What were YOU thinking?
