I take no credit for this.
Just an FYI, the part number is #86383 - 3.5x90mm TiNi shock shaft.
These shafts aren't for individual sale from HPI-USA or its distributors.
So if you bend them, you will have to call in to HPI for replacements.
The number to call is:
1 (949) 753-1099 extension 3
Just give them your name and your address, and you're done.
HPI is so boss.
These shafts are for sale, but you will have to buy them from the other side of the world if you aren't in Japan, Europe, etc. Maybe from fleaBay. So don't go to your LHS and ask for the shafts, when you can get it from HPI for free.
Remember, I take no credit for this. So don't come up to me and say "HEY! You copied this from ___________. That's stealing!" or something like that. I did not see a thread about it here and thought it would really help those on this forum who are bending shocks and don't know what to do.
BTW: I think this only works if you're in USA where they aren't selling it
HPI will give you free replacement shock shafts for your big bores!
