Got a guy wanting to sale me an hpi 25 for $60 just needs pullstart and clutch.
Motor looks new and had 3 quart of fuel in it.
Is that a good price and would it work on the revo?

It would not work on a Revo with out a big block conversion. Personally I was never very impressed the HPI .25. I have had several and none were that great. I mean you can buy it but to me it would just be money wasted. That is just my opinion though.

Knew I would need big block kit.
Wanting more powerful motor than 3.3 and tje guy offered that to me so figured I would get some opinions first. He has the motor I want but he wants to much for it

In a Revo the .25 may be a little more powerful, but there are plenty of better choices if you're going to spring for a BB engine. It's good basher engine though,I ran mine for years and never could kill it so I just set it aside for an emergency back-up engine.

NO! That HPI engine is not worth beans to start with. He probably couldn't get $40 for it if he put it on Ebay because nobody wants it.

Well guess I got the opinions I was looking for. I will pass on it .
Thanks
