Surfing my local market place and came across a losi 8t with a .32 gas engine. I have never seen any thing like that before, and has me curious as to why it never took off. Seems like a better option to nitro. Has to be a reason they never took the market... Insight?

There are others with gas engines. The Rovan Baja is one.

Hpi savage style gas engine. Its around nitro .32 size, maybe a lil larger. I had to look it up.

I wouldnt mind a gas tiny block. I'm waiting for kinks to be worked out. I think HPI abandomed theirs. This is made by Dynamite. I wonder how @Greywolf74 is doing with his octane Savvy.

The mill does look nice and current compared to HPIs.

they are very temperamental, they use a CDI box that is prone to fail i read, and there is not any support for the engine, i read that the plug is a bad design, and there isnt any other options made.

At one point, you could buy that losi with gas engine rtr crazy cheap, because horizon liquidated remaining stock.

I wouldn't get one, especially used, imo

this is in regards to the Dynamite .31 engine
