Hey guys what's up. Does any one know if the new era adjustable big block eng mount is still available, I've googled it and can't find it. Any info in this would be great or if anyone has one and wants to sell it let me know thanks....Nick.

What's up nick . Idk abouth the new era one I'm waiting on a big block converson from them right now been waiting for like 2 and a half months but I know duratrax makes an adjustable mount my buddy's just but one on his maxx with a .50 if I can find the link I'll post it or try looking on there website good luck !!!

Thanks guys, I ended up getting the mount that outlaw tmaxx posted after I tried the one nitro 4910 posted, And I still had to make a plate to go under the mount so It lines up with the mounting points on the frame, but it all worked out good thanks for the help.

I'm using the FLM ice chassis.

As you can see the c/b and spur line up but if I didn't use the plate. The eng mount would force the eng to sit to far forward or to far rear and would not line up with the spur. The FLM chassis has made it very hard for me to install a variety of eng without moding something to make things fit, but overall I like the chassis the FLM makes. It would be nice if they left the eng area solid instead of a web so this way you can drill your own holes for what ever eng you want to use..

Looks like you got it worked out pretty well, FLM used to include a BB mount with the chassis but looks like they stopped including it, kinda silly not to include the BB mount need for your brand new chassis IHO.

I just scored a UE Thunder chassis last week & need to find the mounts that go to it, luckily UE still has the BB mounts but I'm going to have to do like you did till I burn up the SB I have now & replace it with a BB.

Looks like your truck aught to be bad to the bone with that 32 in it.

This truck loves to runs, at wot it usually runs on 3 wheels the entire time I'm on the gas. I was thinking of going with a 22 c/b and a 34 spur to see if I can take some torque out of it. The chassis came with a BB mount but Its made very cheap, the top of the mount broke apart, sent it to FLM for replacement and never heard back so I gave up. Good job on the UE chassis they make good stuff.

R u guys finding thease chassis on eBay or some thing ???? Cuz I had a super hard time finding a company that still makes them . I found one thro new era but thay been bull shiting me around for months now finaly my buddy from my local hobby shop called me up saying he got a hole bb tmaxx on a trade so I ended up getting that one from him. I ended up building a drag truck out of it but I still have another bb and all the parts to build anothe truck just need a chassis any ideas on where I could get one ???

I snagged mine off ebay, unfortunately UE does not make chassis any more, but the ones they did make are made out of 1st run 7075 aluminum & are very tough & well made.

In the last month there have been 3 or 4 UE Thunder BB chassis's up for grabs, one ended with no bids w/a starting price of $20, the only reason I missed it was I out in the marsh trying to get a just pulled off the bottom air boat running that night & forgot it was ending. :opps:

I always watch ebay, craigslist, & my LHS knows to give me a call anytime UE or FLM trucks come through the door looking to be sold.

Really if you can't wait till on comes up for action get a 7075 3 or 4mm plate & make your own, all you need is a drill & bits, & a good jig saw w/quality blades & some patience.
You can us a stock T maxx chassis as a pattern & just stretch it out where you want to.
