So I got a big box of goodies from Amain show up yesterday & last night the revo got a bucketload of mods thron at it.
The night before I pulled it down to a bare chassis & cleaned everything in preperation.

When I got it it was a stock, beat up revo 2.5, over a month or so it got the following:

Fresh 3.3 motor, THS pipe, motorsaver filter.
TRX wing & mount.
17mm hex conversion, new wheels & badlands tyres.
New clutch.
Dodgy FOC, optidrive, shift servo etc removed.
Single steering conversion with a 2075 servo (to be replaced with a metal gear high torque servo when it arrives).
65wt shock oil, ble rear springs, silver front.
P2 rockers.
New shock ends.
2.4Ghz radio & digital reciever.

In this round of mods it got:

RPM true track rear
RPM front arms & carriers
TRX alloy pushrods
TRX alloy steering links
Alloy single servo steering arm & HD servo saver spring.
2nd servo blanking plate
RPM front bumper mount
Proper FOC for the trans
Diffs stripped, cleaned & filled with 90 oil
17t bell & 38t spur gears

Looks really good now! Good job.

Cheers, haven't had a chance to run it yet, but looking forward to it, shed a bunch of weight from the trans & suspension, handling should be a lot better & gearing it up should make a bit of a difference.

Cheers, handling has been transformed, thing is on rails now!

But I found the next weak link in the suspension - avoiding a kid on a BMX that appeared out of nowhere I went off the side of a big jump at fairly high speed, cartwheeled about 8 times & smacked into a wooden bench.
Broke a rocker pivot, everything else survived tho!
