I believe the engine is an earlier model of that. They are made by Conley Precision Engines and the *standard* Stinger 609 will set you back 5,295 USD. Impressive lump though wouldn't you say?

Is that a Cobalt magnet 550 motor being used as a *starter*? Jeeesh :\

They are just.... rrrr niiiicee I want one :D

Wow thats sweet. Never seen one of those before. I remember when I was a kid seeing some really small V-8 in RC Cars. I want one of those you got posted there. LOL
 
Wow I'm so glad to see who makes them. I would have to save my money for a little while and sell some stuff that I'm not using, but I could definitely do one of those in a long term project. I've been wanting to start on a very large scale RC, but I just haven't been able to find a decent motor. I'm just not content running a go-kart motor or something like that in a project of that magnitude, but that engine is perfect.

I might start designing a chassis and suspension for it, and start building it in my spare time. I'm thinking of doing a dune buggy with back wheels maybe 16 inches tall and built to scale. Definitely a tube frame sand setup.
 
Aww man, screw the buggy.. that engine is screaming to go in a street rod. You can even get them in a supercharged version! *drool*
