Hitec HS-5645MG or Hpi SF-50? Both are in the same price range think the Hitec is 164 oz and the Hpi is 166oz anyone used either of these just want some reviews before I purchase one. It will used on a Savage X SS
 
I'd go with the hitec. Whatever servos you go with, make sure to power them with a 6 volt nimh pack.
 
As my hip-hop wanna be coworker would say: True Dat!

Got the Hi-tech and a 6v hump pack in my S-25 Savy and that thing steers awesome!

i got a savox servo and it has 222oz and .16 seconds to turn. I got it at rcplanet.com.
 
I'm using a jr ds8611a servo for steering my savage x and it's very strong. 320oz torque.

I alslo use savox, mines the 1256tg w/ 230lbs tq and its good, warms up quick tho but doesn't lack. In my ax10 though
