have new model 4907 t maxx that i did alot of work on so it made it heavyer. can someone let me know the best throttle and steering servos for this truck. right now have waterproof traxxas servos and really don't like the way they proform thanks all

That's because Traxxas servo's are doodoo. :)

I am going to assume you are using a 6v / 4xAA for your power source on the truck as per specs on your model of T-Maxx.

My personal recommendation for servo's would be a pair of Tower TS-170's (they are rebadged Hitec 7955's and less expensive). At 6v's they delivery a blistering 333oz of torque with an admirable transit speed of .15 (faster than what you've got now). They also feature a complete Titanium drivetrain, you will NEVER break one on a T-Maxx. :)

The best part is, you can save money buying them in pairs on Tower, plus get free shipping, and use a coupon code to make them even more affordable.

That's my tech tip of the day. :)

type in "tmaxx steering" on ebay and look for the 244oz one, Its 29.99 free shipping. I am giving one a try for my s-maxx. For the price its worth a try.

I use the Hitec HS645MG on both of my trucks. No complaints so far. It has enough torque to turn the wheels at a stand still and is fast enough for nice sensitive steering. Use it on the throttle/brake and you have stoppies all day long. If that helps. $40 locally

4 aa battteries

yes using 4 aa batteries just took out to play have 2075 traxxas waterproof making all kinds of noise took apart don't see any stripped gears

Traxxs would be great if they sold them with no radio or engine.:\

Your going to have to make adjustments accordingly linkages & mounting.:D
