I did the rear 4 spider diff mod a few weeks ago. Last week, I got the front diff done. Both diffs have 3000 wt oil. Man this thing is like a whole new truck. But there's still one hill I can't get up because the dirt is real loose. Can anyone recommend the best tires for climbing loose dirt? - mulcher's?

I currently have the stockers.

go with the big joes they grab like theres no tomorrow! :breakdown

Check out the Imex Baja's, they scoop dirt like a dog digging a hole. Plus, with their tread design, you are guaranteed some traction, no matter which part of the tire is touching the ground. They work great for me.

Just a thought but is the dirt almost like sand or close to it. If it is. Why not use paddle tires for hill climbing.

I run IMEX JumboMaxx tires in the Claw Dawgz variety or stock T-Maxx tires. Both work great for loose dirt.

With the stock Tmaxx tires remove every other tire lug. It will lighten the tires a fair bit and also increase the traction of the tires. I have done it and it works great. I used a pair of side cutting pliers then dremeled the rest of the lug so it was nice an smooth with the rest of the tire. Oh if you do decide to dremel the tire lug. Have a pair of goggles and a breathing mask cause it makes one hell of a mess.
