I bought a Revo about 4 months ago and started to set it up for racing. I've got the P2's, RPM arms, the Traxxas rods, and teflon shocks with the orange springs in the front, gold in the rear. Since then I discovered that the track I went to is a bunch of bubba's(5 to be exact) who have decided to set the track up for their 1/8 buggies with extremely short bursts of speed and all technical. I think the longest straight away is 15'. Since I think that pretty much sucks and there are no other tracks within 100 miles of me,I've decided I would rather create a bashing field on the back corner of my property and "play" there with my son. Any Idea's on what the best set up for bashing the revo is? I've put in some serious mounds for some big air, some good sized rocks(that I found when I rented the bobcat, and some wooden ramps I had built some years ago for what is now my son's T-maxx.
Any Idea's?

By the way, some people have heard through word of mouth, and I'm thinking about starting a Bashing club. You know, become a member and use the site. I would have put up pictures, but I don't own a digital camera, gonna beg a friend.

One I would think of is the long travel rockers. RPM's arms also come to mind since there are so much stronger than the stocks.

I've got the RPM's, but I was under the impression that the long travels weren't good for jumping. Will the LT's work with the Traxxas aluminium turnbuckles?

LT rockers not really good for bashing. Just get stiffer springs (I am using Tan (front) & black (rear) and 50wt oil all around and also the original P1 rockers. P2 rockers will works as well and that is what I am running.

Ha, I figured the Long Travels were for bashing, or for jumps with big air. I really only race and couldn't figure out why the hell you would want them so that was my though My bad.

Thanks MyJeep, all I need are the springs...sweet!

Jetmech, no sweat man, no harm, no foul....I think the LT's are for rock crawling only, am I right?

I use the springs for the long travel, but the stock rockers and it works great for bashing. I think they are silver and blue, not sure which is front and rear, I'd have to check.
