I am looking for a new engine for my savage 25 rtr. Which engine do you think has the most power and is still pretty easy to tune.

1. HPI K4.6
2. Ofna picco .27
3.XTM 24.7

Any other suggestions are welcome.

Sh .28. It powerfull and runs well in a savage, holds a tune like a dream. Plus it runs at like 140$.

out of your choices I've heard that the xtm 247 is the best. easiest to tune while still tons of power. i recommend the wasp .28 nightmear to tune but worth it. holds a tune fairly well and when you have to retune it you dont have to tweek it very much because they are really sensitive to needle movement. All Are Great engines so no matter what your savage will hall ass...

The 247 is definitely easy to tune and can hold its tune well. Make sure to get the 247 pro. Only about 20-30 dollars more, but has more power.

The SH 28 is a beast. It revs really high, and is very fast on the track. Only problem from what I have heard is that its con rod breaks after a few gallons. But I have heard from others, if you keep it at 20% and don't run it too hot, it'll last a long time. Either engine, would be fine. If I had to do it all over again, I'd get the SH 28. It was only 129 a few weeks ago at hobby people, and when I heard and saw the engine in action, it definitely gained my respect.

I'm putting the 24.7 on mine today with a cvec pipe.. ill let you know how it goes..

oh and noticed your from houston.. hit me up man we bash almost every weekend..
