I need a pipe for the savage that has the most torque not something like the rd logics which is for higher rpms, I want it for pulling I'm setting one of my trucks up for pulling and need a good pipe that produces a lot of torque! please  help

I would recommend the Ofna Dual Chamber Tuned 9.5 Pipe.

I run this pipe and my truck has some mad torque. I ran in a pull contest (w/ a sled and some rocks as weight) against an MGT and I blew it's doors off. The MGT pulled until it couldn't take any more weight. Then we took some of the weight off & I started pulling. When they hooked up the same weight that he was pulling, I pumped the gas to break my traction and starting pulling that sled around like it was nothing.

Another time we tied up my savage against killahbz savage (rear-to-rear) and had a pull contest. All I will say is that after three pulls, killahbz was left w/ a torn out transmission and I was rolling great. I dragged his truck all over the place.

Plus, wheelies are no problem. Definitely check this pipe out.

i agree great pipe , was intended for my hyper 7 pro but ended up using on the sav and she flys with it

Wow, there are so many great products that OFNA makes. And I used to look down on it because its name outside the US is Ho Bao :arrr:
Maybe I should take a look at their lineup for my next kit...

Ho Bao is the Japanese counter part for Ofna. They make similar parts and or models of the Hyper 7 series. Same with Hong Nor.

thats a company that was and i think still is making products for ofna to there standards,

they also use a company called MDP I've heard that wholesalers get directed directly to them for ordering and service

I'm interested in getting this pipe since its a good price for it.......how hard is it to install, does it come with instructions on how to install, or is it something any hardhead could do?

Is it? I thought it sounds Chinese? (I have no idea what it means, other than that it's Chinese) They also go by the name Ho Bao in Australia...

hi guys
Ho bao supplies OFNA with all there buggys/parts etc, OFNA is an american distributer that imports there stuff from Ho bao and puts there name on it. they take no part in the making of any of these things in the us. i have a hobao hyper 7 pcr pro (from Taiwan) and the only difference being that my shock towers dont have the PCR logo on it even though they are PCR towers and laydown servo tray. my hyper 7 pro also came with a Hyper 21 8 port race engine. Call OFNA they will tell you that they dont make the parts. Only OFNA has the right to distribute Ho bao in the us.

hpi pipe

thanks , what about the ring pipe by hpi I've heard its got loads of torque
even from hpi because of the fat open design and large stinger, the quicker the pipe opens up the more torque the narrower higher speed and the hpi tapers up quick w/ fat body to it!!!!!!

havent seen it on a savage personally but i have heard the same thing. if you are going to go with the Hpi ribbed pipe, look on ebay you can find them for dirt cheap
