well I'm not going to beable to get my dynamite pipe to work on the FR18 so I'm goin to sell it and get a pipe that will work but my question is is the WORKZ or WORKS pipe from fantom really the best for the FR18 or is it just something they say for marketing reasons??

i like the Paris turbo ripple pipe, good low end grunt. not sure if the FR18 is a side or rear exhaust engine.

Realize, that most manufacturers that support one pipe over another have optimized their engine and pipe combos. They most likely had that pipe designed specifically for that engine. While it may not be the best for all applications, it will be the best for what Fantom set that engine up for....racing.

Go for either the fantom pipe or sirio big bore pipe cuz thos r specifically made for .18 engines. I've heard that the pipes run about the same performance so either should be fine. I run the bb pipe cuz its cheaper:ahem:

To tell you the truth i've been having some tuning problems, i can't seem to find the right spot. Everyone at the traxxas forum is talking about the massive wheelies and other power gains they got form the fantom but right now mine is still running like the 2.5. However i have 40 series tires with stock gearing so i think i need to drop down to a 18tooth clutchbell.

I have the natural finish WORKS pipe on my FR.18,the only pipe for this mill!IMHO
