totally new to this all but instantly hooked !! love to get my hands dirty stripping down, repairs, mods etc .. sure beats my old battery car !

anyway my question is..

which hpi pipe would be the best for my truck ? (performance)

HPI Aluminum Tuned Pipe 21+ Polished

or

HPI Ribbed Tuned Pipe Savage SS

reason i ask is that i now happen to have both but looking for other peoples ideas ie, more torque or more high speed etc ??

i was also looking at getting the dual disk braking system as slowing down quicker and later into corners is as effective as adding on more bhp or ever a couple of miles per hour top speed.

learned this with real cars.

only mod i have on it so-far is a k&n air filter.

thanks

I saw go with the Hpi Aluminum tuned pipe 21 + poslished. I saw that because this one is alittle better than the other one and it looks better. Also it will give you more top end.

I just put on a THS tuned pipe on my picco .26, it will fit the .21bb This thing is awesome!!!

Dude aren't K&N filters for cars. Honestly man you are using a breather filter filter for a car. You would be best served to get a motor saver filter for her. These guys have all given good suggestions

i have a THS off-road pipe on an hyper 8 port and it sounds very nice....super smooth and a very nice tone. and I'm sure it gives great performance although i havnt ran anything else on the hyper 8 to compare it to, but they 8 port is screaming. of all the pipes I've heard the THS 1/8 off-road has to be the one id associate with "ferrari V12" while my steel single chamber fantom 1/8 pipe id associate with "13:1 compression 383 stroker"

haha..well I'm jsut trying to convey to others what my opinion of the difference of exhuast note between the 2 pipes i own (among others) are....sorry my engine choices werent to your liking, perhaps your a ford guy..ok then replace the chevy with a 347...hehe. (BTW my favorite sound in the world of engines has to be a suzuki GSX-R 750 with a full lenghth yoshimura pipe at 12k rpms...
