I want to get some new wheels and tires soon. But i was just wondering whats the best wheels i can get that are 1/2 inch offset, and tires as well, i would definetely like to go a bit bigger than the stock tires on my revo, but not much. Please let me know what you guys think, and will i have to modify my hubs with the traxxas hex design, on the 5309 model, or will i have to put regular 17mm's on there. thanks for any input.

I like proline 3.7" lpr's on dish wheels with composite 17mm maximizer adapters. The crime fighters are ok but there are better tires available.

OOPS I quoted myself.:whhooo:

what i am looking for are definetely a larger offset than stock, with atleast the same size of tire as stock, if not bigger. any more suggestions?

i picked up some of those extended hubs for my MERV. wouldn't trust them in that design for the 1:10 stuff. they are sketchy on the MERV to say the least.

i don't think you're gonna find more than a 1/2 offset.
could be wrong, i haven't seen one myself but i haven't looked for myself either.

Those are 1/2 inch offset and I think they're a wee bit taller too, unless you have a new 5309. I'm not sure cuz I threw my beat up stockers away. If you have a new 5309 than the tires are taller with a 1/2 inch offset, but the 3.7 lpr's are light and smooth. You can just gear up for the slightly smaller tires. IMO the 6.3 inch stock tires are too big.
