Any of the little Losi Micro-T trucks would be excellent. A word of caution though, the brushless set up tends to be a bit too much to use inside the house.

Micro is perfect for the house. I have brushless/lipo in mine and I dont' have any issues inside. I have the slower of the motors with stock gearing.

No, they all come with a brushed motor and little Nimh battery. IMO they are boring stock. I don't know precisely how fast they are with the hop-ups but they are certainly more fun in a medium sized room.

Love the look of the micro losi's. My favorite one is the trail trecker 4x4. Its a freaking MICRO SCALER!! but for more speed and such, i like the micro highroller. Seems to be better for higher/thicker carpets.

I have a micro DT. I added the treaded axles and replaced the bushings with bearings. I get quite a bit of run time on the stock battery and its a lot of fun in the house. If you make a couple little ramps its a ton of fun. I dont plan on getting the brushless motor but will be getting a lipo as soon as i can find a non losi pack that will fit. I just can't see spending $25 for a tiny lipo.

CosmosGoat has it about right. That's where mine started. The only other thing I would add is a better heat sink if you add the LiPo.

I just built a trck for micros in my basement so me and the family can each gget a micro and race I will post a few pics soon(its not fully finished but I am going up to lhs today and try and grab a couple to start off with... I was thinking of the 1/24 or the 1/36 size micro's ( for 1/24 I was thinking of the losi micro rally/or the micro SCT.... and for 1/36 I am stuck between the micro-t the desert truck and the high roller of course(that thing looks so cool).) My question is has anyone tried out more than just one of them??? i want to get something that the kids can drive on the track and have fun instead of having something that doesn't handle that well.... Any ideas????
