I'm looking for some good sized and decently realistic headlight decals or stickers for my SC10. I really dislike the "RC10dotcom" advertisements up there and would like to change them out to at least look like headlights...
So, I'm wondering what anybody here may have used, what brand, and where you found them, etc.
I really don't like the cheeseball looking JConcepts ones either, look too much like some space toy...
Haven't found much else out there. :(

Thanks!

I just searched for a style of headlights that I really like, such as F-150 headlights match the JConcepts VXL Tango body, so I searched and found a pic of ones I liked, scaled it down using mspaint or any paint program for that matter, print it out and place clear packing tape over it and voila! Do it yourself headlights and taillights. You can find some really neat euro style and led style pics. It works great for grills, accents and decals too. These are just a few I did for my trucks:

I got a veriety pack from McCallister racing a while ago and you can get a bunch of different styles to choose from. Mostly stock car light kits from Ford,Chevy and Dodge.I like the DIY idea and will have to try that someday.

Hey, thanks for the tips!

Might have to give that a try... but how long do they actually last on just printer paper covered with packing tape? Seems moisture might work it's way under there... I guess I'm pretty hard on stickers too, even the rather tough stock AE stickers weren't holding up too well up there with my elbow-rubbing driving style!

For the time being I actually just cut out some headlight shapes the same as the AE SC10 ones from some black motorcycle number plate background I had, which is TOUGH, then I had one of those JConcepts "cheeseball" headlight variety packs, and I took some of the larger ones from that and simply cut out the headlight reflectors only and stuck those to the black silhouette. Looks decent and I got the shape I wanted!
I'll have to post some pics when I get a chance.

I'll have to take a glance at some of the McCallister offerings. Anyone know if Parma makes any variety packs? I have a few of their drag-racing/hot-rod/off-road sponsor packs which I really like, would be nice if they did headlights/tail-lamps too.

So far I have had no problems with moisture or anything else ruining the lights. Here is a better pic of the ones I did to my McAllister Camaro. The headlights are actual pics of 1980 Camaro lights and the rears came off of a 1991 Camaro. You can also use spray adhesive that dries clear, you can pick it up at any hobby/craft store. Or try using clear sticker paper that you can find at most office supply stores. They make clear paper for inkjet and laserjet printers. I am doing that to make some Weapon-R and Fox Racing and Polaris decals for my trucks. Good luck.

there is some one either on here or ebay that sells decals that look just like the front grill and lights of a dodge, ford, chevy, nissan, and toyota not to sure were but try googeling it.
