What would be a better buy, associated Tmaxx shocks, a _MIP Shiny CVD Kit T-Maxx 2.5 or a _MIP Shiny Center Drive Kit T-Maxx 2.5. What would be a more useful buy ?
Better value buy ?
Thanks

Thats a tuff one. I'll say shocks first as I did it the other way around as was really hating my shocks by the time I changed them. I am still running 4 stock shocks so it still kinda sucks.

I think that you have them listed in the right order for purchase.

The stock shocks on the T-Maxx just plain suck. Plastic bodies and weak springs make them prime targets for destruction during any hardcore bash session. The slide shafts on the new T-Maxx are a little beefier than they used to be, so you may not need to rush right out and replace them...BUT you will one day want to. I'd start at the four corners and then get the centers, but that is just me. Just remember as you make more and more of the drivetrain rock solid, you will need to upgrade other parts and work your slipper clutch well so as not to fry the tranny or any diffs. The other parts in question would be the internal gears of the diffs and the tranny.

For now...go with the upgraded shocks.

I too would have to put my vote in for shocks first. Just remember that most aftermarket shocks springs suck! so you may want to think about getting some better springs when you buy the shocks. I use the Trinity blue springs on all 8 of my Dynamite/Losi shocks.
