crawler1 has "skids" out for the berg now wich is basically just teflon with super sticky tape on it and they go on your axles belly and motor, as see here on mine.

yeah they should do pretty good, i'll find out in a couple hours at a comp.

I just noticed that you swapped out your Rovers for come Panthers, man do you have a lot of squish in those front tires. Let us know how well they hook up at the comp today. and if the skids helped, LOL!!!!

lol yeah, you know me, new tires every week it seems lol. the panthers do well as always, I'm running the nwtt reach hybrids, number 5's and 8's but the course had too many "binding" spots for them.

anyways though, those skids DO NOT LIKE ABUSE! the course was all lava and the skids are pretty much dead now lol, cut through them in several spots, but I'm sure on smoother rock they would help out a bunch...

Wow I did not realize the stuff was that soft, I figured they would hold up better then that, oh well they were worth a try...

Time for some Cross skids. ;) I made some from lexan when I first built my Berg about a 10 months ago and I still use the same ones today.

yeah yours are the ones under the lower links right?

sounds alot better, that teflon just died super fast on the front can and axle.

their pictured in his akrcc or whatever berg build. hard to see since their clear.

i was trying to get chip to do the leg work on this one. geeeez

going search now....

very cool, i like it. that steering setup is slick too. not as cool as my stock ax-10 setup, but you try and thats all that matters. Pat yourself on the back

yotachumps bta is really nice but he's not the greatest and customer service so that kills it for me. skids look like they have had some use and still holding on!
