Bell gear

I've got a HPI RS4 3 evo that I'm doing some slight repairs on. The last thing I need to do is swap the two gears on the bell housing. Problem is that I can't get them off. I see on the parts explosion that they screw on, so I assumed that you just unscrew them....I can't seem to do that. Am I missing something? If I hold the housing with a tool I think I will damage it. Thoughts?

Got them. Needed to put a wrench on both parts to get a good enough grip but once I did they spun off.
