Battery pack question....

I bought 2 1100 hump packs from cheapbatterypacks.com and I paid $23.46 (that also includes shipping!!!) and I got it within days! I"m thinking about getting another one just to have extras. You can also choose what kind of connector you want on it also (ie dean, jst, hitec, etc, etc) have them custom build you a pack anyway you want them do for less than you can buy one from another place. here's the link. http://www.unipros.com/cbpsite/packs.asp?cat=AIR&session_id=136875

So far cheapbatteries.com has the lowest prices for packs, even a custom 2600mah nimh pack is just $29.95 shipped.

Where did you even find a battery pack in that mess of a website??

Another advantage of rechargables is that they are more reliable. I say avoid using plastic AA holders for any reason. I have lost control of several different cars from the plastic holder breaking or loosing contact. I am using Trinity 1150 mah nimh packs now with great success.

I've been running mine so much lately that I've been replacing a set of alkaline batteries every day. I installed the Reedy NiMh 1100 Ma pack. After 2 full days of hard running, my battery monitor is still showing the first green light with full brake applied.
About 22 bucks. Worth every penny.

I clicked on plane packs (If you click on car packs it wont give you much chose on 6v packs, its mostly for electrics)on the left and it was the first pack on the top of the list, then i clicked on the drop down window on the right to choose my connector type, then I clicked on ADD TO CART and I was done. It took me all of 2 minutes to look and order. They take paypal also. If you want custom, just click on Custom packs. It wasn't hard at all. Its the same amount of "clicks" as ordering from onlybatterypacks.com except they offer several shipping methods (with prices from a drop down window) so you can decide how much you want to pay and how fast you want them to get to you. I thought it was fairly easy and not confusing at all.

My bad R/C Madman; the site i was talking about is cheapbatterypacks.com I should have proof read my post #23:(
I typed it right in post #21
that site you're talking about is a mess!!! lol

That is much better but, where is the info like the mah #? Plus it does not come with a charger. The pack I got came with everything you need to connect to just about any radio system and any charger and came with a charger.

Even if you pay $10-15 for a charger, you still save cash. The mah is in the item(ie A5GEN1100OB is 1100mah). Keep in mind that this company just started and is ran by 2 people for now, so the site and product is great. They even reply fast to questions and comments.
