Man, a lot of EZ-start threads right now! I've got a fairly new EZ-start and I have used it through a few charges and even put it through 3 or 4 .5 amp cycles on my duratrax Ice charger. I find that even if I charge it the night before it needs to be charged right before use to turn the engine AT ALL. Has anyone else had this broblem? Does it need to be cycled more or slower? How many folks have given in to temptation and bought a 3500+ Mah NiMh for their EZ and how did it work out? Todd

Its 1500, but it says its NiMh. Kinda surprising as it doesn't seem to me like I've seen many sub-c size NiMhs that are that low of capacity in the last few years. I think I'm going to try to find a 3000+ anyway, but I'd like the battery that came with a brand new truck to perform anyway. Kinda mind-calculating how long a 1500 will run a 540 car and a single cell will run a glow ignitor it seems like one would get a lot of 10 second bursts? But it seems like it turns a fair amount of the energy into a hand warmer as well (: I'm putting it on some 200Mah cycles tonight and if not maybe Traxxas can help me. Thanks Rolex!
