Hello,

this is fairly simple and novice question.
Should I always disconnect battery after turning off ESC via button?
Or is it enough only to press button and leave battery plugged in?
It's always extra hassle to put down body, unzip dusty motors cover and unplug battery.

Thank you for your answers!

I used to leave it plugged in if I was gonna drive. After a few times my truck turned on by its self, I stopped doing that. It was a traxxas first or second gen vxl.

always unplug. many esc will drain a battery to almost no voltage when power button is off and battery still connected ...

I've had recently a new arrma voltage drain my lipo to unrecognizable levels just over night. So in plug them. You only need to have one blow up on you out of nowhere. After that you won't leave them plugged in.

Also if it is a LiPO battery it's best to (de)charge to storage voltage if you are not going to drive for some days

Thank you very much for all answers. Longer process but safer it is then.
