battery box size

I am looking to get a pack for my savage x and I found one that is a 3300, its size is listed as 2.63" (Long)1.8" (Height);1.8" (Width) but I could not find the size of the battery area in the box.

Will that battery fit?

I velcro'ed mine into the front bumper. I like it there.

so rather than putting it into a protected box you put it in front of your car? Did you use a larger pack than would fit?

depends on your receiver,,,,,,i would not put it in the bumper ,,, if anything happends with the wire ,,,you got a runaway truck on your hands,,,,

That's larger than what I use in my Savage. I don't think it would fit mine,it's a .25
