You will need to buy an adapter to be able to use that charger. Like it says here:

"Adaptors for charging Receiver Packs and Park Flyer Packs sold separately."

I just bought one for my pack, and dont quote me on this, but I am 99.9% it will work:

that runs about $2-3 USD


other than that yes, that should work as long as you can make it fit in your car
 
yes redhats info is correct that battery will fit fine in the savage box and that charger will work (with the adapter )...i take it you have no other nimh charger? if not and you want a charger for some 7.2v packs as well looks good ....
 
thanks guys, only chargers i have i believe are ni-mh but for radio shack cars i had years ago...
 
Look, it's a 12v DC charger, which means, you need to hook it up to your car battery to get power. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, I just kinda skimmed through the info.
