I run promatch racing 7cell 5000mah batts. Iv'e noticed that I now have to run mty truck for a few minutes to get my truck to wheelie...Like the batts aren't powerful enougfh at the start of a run and I have to run them for a while, maybe like 5-10mins of full throtle passes up and down my street for them to start getting my front end up. Why is this? I dont recall them being this way when I got them and I haven't been able to run frequently for the past month or two...like every other weekend.

that doesn't seem to be a battery related issue. sounds more like the truck just needs to warm up before it starts pulling wheelies. try re-tuning it and see if that gets rid of the problem.

Sounds more like a motor problem. Bad connection or a brush is starting to let go. Does your motor get hot regularly? If so, it may just be wearing out.

The motor does get quite hot now. Il check the brushes, how long or short should they be? Or...color?
