i read somewhere b4 about changing turnbuckles over to a ball cup setup easyer to pop back on then fix a bent one ..

So has anyone does this or have the part#s to do it ? thx

I have not done this modification, but it is a good idea. Here are the parts you might need:

RPM rod ends:

Associated Engineering Ball Studs:

or Trinity Ball Studs:

or Duratraxx Ball Studs:

Someone else might be able to give you more exact information, but the rod ends I listed will fit Lunsford turnbuckles (which means they will most likely fit yours). The three brands of ball studs listed should all work or at least give you a place to start looking when you hit the LHS.

Hope this helps.

Thx sky that should do the trick I've only bent 1 turn buckle but broak a few mounting points on the a arms thats for sure ...just picked up some alum arms and such for it and think I'm gonna build anther maxx :)

Those are the best answer to the turnbuckle question. I run Lunsford Titanium turnbuckles; and since I started running them, I have not bent one nor busted a rod end. Prior to getting them, I was busting rod ends left and right. Something about not landing my jumps quite right :D
