Baja tire racks

I have been making tire racks for the HPI baja for abit now, I use an old front axle and tap it out, then use a grade 8 bolt/nuts, to hold it in place... the alloy I use is 2in wide 1/8in thick and the grade is unknown I buy it from the local hardware store it comes in 3ft pc's...well anyways here is the fianl product...(the ones being made do not have the foam on it though)

Great idea! If you kept the older pipe though, were in comes out from the body instead from the back, I would've mounted it where the roll cage bars are since there was space and you could keep the wing. Just my 2 cents, but it still looks great . Keep up the good work.

I do not have the HPI any more, I have the GBE pipe now, some of the pics are older...
