as far as i know you dont, some will say to go easy on it a little, but others have said you have to get the rpm up to seat the ring. its nothing like a nitro.

i dont break mine in eather. but its safe to run 25:1 for the first 2 tanks, then i jump to 40:1. i kinda keep the redline to short bursts, but i dont know why. I've heard the "ring seat" thing too. the back pressure from the high rpms helps seat the ring, from what i hear. its a little sluggish for the first 2 tanks and then it just opens up. I'm always kinda disopointed and wondering were the power is, but buy the end of the second tank it will be begging for more throttle. nitro's get slower with age, but 2 strokes just stay level gallon after gallon..

none u dont break in a weedwacker do you? :D
we also dont pay $2000 for our weedwacker:D

so you can run 40:1 in it?? thats what i run in my echo weedwhacker (my gocart on a stick.. its 43cc!!)

no you dont but its the same engine as a weed wacker. damm you guys pay 2000 for that??

I'm not saying you should, but i do. with no problems at all. back in the day running 8% nitro was risky, but we just keep going up and running 33% nitro is fine now. a 2 stroke will last more then 12 gallons with maybe an $8 ring.. that comes out to over 1200 hours. I'm fine with running a little lean and only getting 600 hours out of a mill, then replacing the top end for $150.. , ya know what i mean?

no. about $1000 or more for the 5t, plus $200 for radio,$150 for a pipe, $150 for a headkit, maybe $250 in chassis upgrades plus whatever parts you brake, plus $180 for a shell once per season, and you are pretty close. then there is people like me who just can't have one.. WE NEED 2!! and the next one will always be better then the last one. its a bad cycle that dont end..

yea ur right haha only money i can even try and count of all the money that i put into my savy haha. i think if i started to count then id start to cry cuz its gotta be atleast 1000 into in haha.

start it, warm it up, tune it for a good spool up and decent topend, a bit rich, and have fun. just dont go wot for more than 15 or so seconds for the first have a tank.

what i ll do with a new motor is after aroudn 10 minutes of running, come in shut down, let it cool off a bit, then go at it again. dont show it much mercy, just enough. by the time the 1st 1/2 tank is gone, tighten the tune upa tad and grip it and rip it.
