Hi all
I've recently brought myself a savage x4.6 which i had to get pretty much all new drive gear for so while i was at it thought i would strip it down and check everything over and give it a proper good clean it all turned out ok and put it back together with my new items on it and time to play or so i thought i just can't get it running right to start it i need to give it a small amount of throttle two or three zapps of the roto and it starts but seems to have a mind of it's own (the engine i mean) some times it will just cut out for what seems to be no reason and will be a pig to start even with my finger on the gas and as it gets hot the tune goes it's a constent fight to keep a tune in it can any one help me PLEASE:\

The tuning flow chart works great as long as your engine is in good condition. Is this a new engine or used? If it is used how my fuel has been run through it and where did you buy it?

sorry it's been a while till i got back to you i brought the whole truck off of ebay i told the mrs i wanted a new one and made the mistake of telling her how much they are so got permition to buy a second which has cost me the price of a new one anyway the engine itself seems to have good compression and i have know idea how much fuel has been put through it, i took it out to start on the tuning guide and i found the shopping trolley that the kids had left on the feild so i'm having to leave it to do next week hopefully which will give me the week to strip it down for cleaning and maintaining sorry for waffling

There are special magnets inside all these rigs that attract them to items only when they are traveling at high speed. :D

Keep us posted when it's up and running.
