Here is the story, completely charged rx batttery, fresh Tx batteries. The antena wire is wrapped around the front and rear leg of the right landing skid, which is plastic. I am experiencing glitching that makes the heli almost uncontrollable. I have ajustment screws for gain on the Rx, I haven't touched them yet but I am wondering if this might fix my problem. By the way I am flying in an area where I have never had this problem before.

For starters, let the antenna wire run straight out. If it still glitches, we'll try something else. We're just starting with the basics first.

I won't have to worry about it getting wrapped up in something?

What I have on the nitro heli is an antenna tube that's secured to the tail boom. that allows you to extend the wire without it getting tangled. The electric is 2.4 Ghz, so there's no external antenna.
If you have been flying it this way for a while, it's unlikely that this is your problem, but try it just to be on the safe side.
Other than that, get out your manual and make slight adjustments on the gain and heading control after you know the antenna is not the problem.
