This was my first kit I’ve ever built. I must say axial hit it out of the park with this one. I had recently had a stroke in December of 2017, and needed something to help rehabilitate my hand since I work on computers. Being cooped up in the house with limited mobility I got into watching rc videos. Bought a 2wd stampede to play with, then decided I was up for the challenge of building a kit knowing full and well that I was going to face a lot of challenges. I intentionally used Allen keys for most of this build. So when I say it took a couple weeks to complete understand I had plenty of time on my hands and faced some unique challenges since I’m left handed so basically couldn’t get by just using my right hand.

Hands down my favorite build. One I’ll never sell, and one I just love sitting out back and driving around when the weather is nice.

Electronics are from an SMT10 someone had pulled off for their build. I completed this back in January but just now deciding to share.

Glueing tires sucked with two good hands. This was hard to do. Though since this build I’ve recently found proline tire glue and my world has been turned upside down.

Applying masking, stickers, etc was a challenge. Overall it looks great.

.
@marauder nicely done! I used to have the SCX10 myself, I think I enjoyed building it a lot more than driving it... I like to go fast! :D

You should see my red scx10-II, I just finished installing a HH puller pro 3500xl that I pulled from my bomber. It’s kinda fast...

Looks good, nice work!

WoodiE, you can make anything fast. My Wraith could clear the big double at the local track in high range. Just don't try to turn. :D
