agreed. i knew a guy that lied about having his house blown away after katrina. (his house was fine) just so his clan wouldn't boot him for not playing for the few days the cable was out. then they all started sending him cash with paypal to help him recover. he ended up giving the money to the salvation army.

My wife and are really good friends with another couple, they got into playing WOW and we haven't seen them in 2 years.........literally. They got married like 3 years ago and I think they use the game as an escape from each other. Sad, cause we really miss hanging out with them. We've invited them over several times and they always find an excuse not to go.
