One nice thing about fresh water tanks--I use automatic feeders and am home often enough that my girlfriend only has to top off the water twice and clean the filters once while I am gone. We all know that the salt's took an hour a day...

Same here! Way to much work. They are fun though having your own lil eco system in your house.

Thats why you gotta put him in a tank by himself.


The rule is like 4" of fish not counting the tail per 10 gallon of saltwater...


So triggers get to be 10+" counting the tail they need like a 50-75Gal tank just for themselves.
 
I had a fresh water tank many years ago, and after adding an angel fish my neons and cardinals were getting their fins nipped. When it was feeding time he got very aggressive with the other fish. I gave up trying to get him with the net, so the next day when I sprinkled the food in the feeding ring in the corner, he was greeted with a .22 cal air powered pellet...split his face in two and sent him fluttering to the bottom, to the cheers of all my nice fish.
 
I had an uncle who had alot of saltwater fish, they were cool to look at and stuff but he spent alot of money on em'.

Angels are agressive. Their cousins the Discus are even worse!
