I just ordered an axial 32!!!! any thoughts on it v.s. my stock xl's 5.9??
I was told more torque and a higher top end.

From a personal standpoint, you'll LOVE it. I just bought an Axial Spec 1S .28, and the thing is just plain sick! It starts on the first pull, runs the tank dry, and just has insane power at around 212F. Even with the MGT tires, it wants to pick the front end up... A little leaner and it'll flip over on it's lid. Just insane power for cheap.

(now I just need to repair my brakes.... Right SmokeDogg?)

I have the .28 in my savage, and it rips like crazy, I think you'll love it.

no not selling the 5.9 but after some of the reviews i've read about maybe i should!!
After a little more research some say it has more low end but lacks on the high end. Any one own one that can tell me from experience?

just out of curiosity I had replied to mcnorris earlier but now my reply is gone....What gives?????????

I have had two Axial .28s in the past and I have had good luck with them. I know some people don't have the luck I did but all companies have their bad runs too. I think you will like it. Easy to start and tune. Very forgiving....

I have 2 .28 spec 1s, a .32 spec 1s and a .28rr and they are all awesome. Apparently the .28rr has some issues with air leaks although I haven't had a problem. I am keeping a close eye on it though.
The .32 is in a Savage SS and it hauls..... Great power and they really are easy to tune.
You wont regret it.
