Dont you ever mix superglue remover with wd-40 to your rims. i was remvoing superglue form my rims with the super glue remover and i thought it was dry becuz i used wd-40 to make my rims shiny!! :D but when i did it removed the chome off the rims and now there is a good size white spot where the chrome used to be. iam so sad becuz these are new and i got them like a week ago. i feel so sad, but abit of advise dont do sumthing unless u are completley sure it is dry:OMG: :( :opps:

if you airbrush you can use alclad2 chrome laquer to redo it if you that much sad about it

alclad 2 runs at a pretty penny and it will give you that chrome look again but make sure you clear it right or else i dont think it will hold up to the big bad savage bashing without a clear a search on google under "Alclad 2 chrome laquer" gives a million results check dixie art for an airbrush a badger 155 anthem is a good airbrush the 155-7 kit( the kit i got) only cost 60 bucks it comes with one of those things that looks like a crack bottle.... 1/4 cup gravity feed thing air hose and of corse the airbrush
pm me for instructions on how to use the chrome laquer also i could pm u some looks that alclad 2 has given one of my friends who is a hot wheels customizer

If you really don't like the chrome, and want a really cheap effective way to paint your rims, here goes: #1 Strip them down to bare plastic #2 Wash them with dish soap and make sure they are dry #3 go down to your local wal-mart buy 3 cans of spray paint (primer of any color, your choice of color which can include chome, and then a can of clear coat/laquer) #4 Spray on the primer first with two even coats. Let them dry inbetween coats. #5 Spray on your choice of color I also sprayed on two coats of this #6 Let them dry a few hours, and then spray on two coats of clear/laquer. #7 Let this dry for about 24 hours, because if you put the rim on to early, the paint will just crapt on you there where you tighten it down. I have to say my paint job turned out really sweet, and even when the exhaust nitro got on the right rear rim, no paint came off. Man this was the cheapest way to repaint my rims. Just my .02

read your pm's my airbrush comes back on monday i am not assured of using a brush

If you repaint it, don't spray nitro cleaner on your rims either. Good luck.

thats why i simply say use an automotive clear... always trust an airbrush artist word
