Lately my hpi firestorm has been running extremly hot, tuning makes no difference and it would bog all the time and wouldnt run for longer than a minute, but finally i found the problem, i had lost the washer on my glow plug, and now i've found it, so i've just put it back on and I'm gonna, run it tommorow.

But becuase it would of made an air leak, will i need to retune my engine???

Probably. You'd have to retune it anyway because you haven't run it (properly) in a while, so the tune will be off.

Ok thanks. I've ran it for altogher about 5 or six hours without it. Would there be any da age

Depends on how hot it got. Forcing it to run with an air leak probably, at least compromised the longevity of engine life. The worse thing that could be is that it never runs right again. Might be time for a piston and sleeve. Could also run just fine.

ok i'll try it later on today and see if it runs ok
thanks

my engine still works!, i took it out last night for not very long and it runs, itts gunna need tuning though, it smokes like a chimney, but I'm guna do that tonight, so alls looking good
