If the shock bodies are indeed made by Traxxas than they should be what they call "Big Bores".
To my knowledge, the only aluminum shocks that Traxxas put out for the Maxx were the Big Bores.

Yes...these are Traxxas aluminum Big Bore shocks. These were the only style sold from Traxxas. Overall they are decent shocks for the money-used. You can still get replacement parts to repair them too.
