Just wondering if the Nova rossi 8 ports are really that much better than the Sirio .27 and .28 wasp, or .27 Fantom.
They cost a lot more, but can you actually see the differance? Are they built that much better? Would I see an appricable differance between a Nova 8 port and a .27 Fantom or a .28 Wasp? I hear that the Nova has more RPM's and more speed w/torque. Any advise? I was looking at buying a used truck w/ a Nova 8 port, but just not sure it's worth it.
Anyone run the Fantom .27?
 
If you can find a 528XRP in stock somewhere I will tell you all about it.. I can not find one... I have heard they are worth the money.. I wanna know for myself..

lol, try finding someone with a RB Concepts Rody Modified C5...that's a hopeless cause.


Anyhoo, I can't say i've had that novarossi, but I know novarossi has some of the best engines around. I doubt there's that many production (not hand modified) engines that can beat a race novarossi.
 
Alright, what's going on here! If I didn't know you were in CA, I'd have thought ya was in cahoots (don't ask what "Cahoots" means ,I have no idea)with this guy! LOL!!!
The exact model no# is N528XRP, he said it has tons of torque and top end too. These are usually $300.00 motors.

Get the Top or Rex version.NitroHouse the Rex version in stock..
 
Nothing. NovaRossi,Top and Rex are the exact same engine.Sold under a different name.Just the heads are different colors.NovaRossi=Purple,Top=Black and Rex=Blue
 
So, are they really that much better than the less expensive Wasp .28's?
Do they produce that much more power and last longer?
 
I think so.I have owned them both and the Top ran great right out of the box..On the other hand the Wasp was a headache for the start..My Top would pull wheelies in a Savage with 20/49 gears..Have you seen my video?

Yea Mark, I thought you had a NR 28.. No please compare that motor to your ported S25..????? I seen that vid and I was shocked..!
 
Which video shocked you? IMO I think the Top has alittle more low end than the Modded S-25.But I haven't tired 20/49 gears with the S-25..But I will LOL.The top end would be a toss up..Get my TVP's done yet?I have the S-25 waiting for you NIB..
 
Well, I just bought a Savage with the N528XRP Nova Rossi 8 port, w/ an FM/PCM Radio, modified in all the critical areas. Should be a screemer!

I just paid a guy with Paypal, he had an account and my funds where transferred to him via his account. We should be able to get you squared away. I will still want a set of L & L TVP's.
 
Sure hope it's as good as they say! I'm told that this particular motor takes almost a gallon of fuel to completely break in due to it's extremely tight tolerances. Do you concur?!
 
Should have the bad boy tomorrow, can't wait!

Well let me say this, The Nova .28 8 port KICKS ASS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wheelies @ 30 mph with 20% nitro@210 degrees! It RIPs insane, I've NEVER seen a motor as powerfull as this!!!
Worth the money!!!!!!!
