It widens the wheel stance. It fits into the same spots as your stock setup, but the arms would be longer. I didn't see a measurement for them, though.

Yea, I'm trying to see if it is worth it, to gain a little more width on my stance, as well as the cvd's.

I'd opt for MIP CVD's and RPM arms...not that integy is bad, or extra width would hurt anything. Integy is good, but I wouldn't trust the tiny aluminum arms at 40+mph...one flip and I'm sure they would bend or break. I guess my next question would be...if they bend can you buy single axle replacements or would you have to fork out the dough for another kit?

I just wish i knew how much longer they are.

If you buy it I will, ordered so far today
RC18B kit
sidewinder/5400 kv motor
SR 3500 Spektrum RX

I just ordered

(3) 60t spur gears
MIP Super diff kit
and a factory diff rebuild kit.

Good luck contacting anybody at Integy. They are known to have the worst customer service in the business. Of course they don't have any customer service.

Caveat Emptor.

You might want to look around and see if anyone else makes a similar upgrade. If possible, buy from ANYONE except Integy. They lack Integrity. Their customer service is second to none. It just can't get any worse.

SD, that's a great find. That's a hell of a price. I sold my RC18B to Alpine, and now he's making me miss it so I'm going to end up having to spend a lot of money on my RC18MT to get it to handle, and then I know I'll end up with another one for on road purposes.

Tower dont know, and integy wont answer their phones.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. If it's that bad when you're trying to BUY something from them, imagine when you have a problem with something. If I were you, I would definitely buy from the place that SD linked to.

Yeah, unless you have a friend like mine who deals with integy a lot I'd avoid them. Great parts for shelf queens though, but when it comes down to bashing...not so much when you consider what other companies have to offer.

Track width to wheel base, the rc18 is already a VERY wide ride. Adding 20mm would make it wider than it is long! A better investment would be adjustable turnbuckles. The stock/fixed geometry on the rc18 is way too neutral.
happy motoring!:)
I switched to the titanium turbuckles and it was a significant improvement even before I set the toe-in. Since adjusting them, the correcting and counter steering are awesome. I looked at the widening kits right away, but I couldn't see the benefit. That's why I opted to upgrade within the stock specs, eliminating as much slack as possible. I also think an aluminum bell crank will be my next upgrade. Good luck!
