I think I'm in Love! I just got finished reading in Fall RC Touring Cars mag and found a 'Shootout' for speed article. Now dont get me wrong, I love my NTC3 accross the board! Especially how it handles. BUT, for a SPEED DEMON only, I had to glance at this one twice, 3 times, 4 times and so on.....

The Nitro Fusion is the fastest most exciting R/C Touring car ever created. The enormous .21 (3.5cc) Pro Spec engine with CNC tuned pipe system is capable of propelling the lightweight 4WD chassis to an incredible 80mph! The unique 'E-Start' system eliminates the problems associated with dated pullstart systems, simply use a standard, cordless, torque drill for effortless, reliable starting. Available with a choice of 3 unpainted Frewer body styles, F155 truck, 2002 Subaru WRC and BMW M3.

So with all that being said, what do you think? Because I really really really think I need to get one! Like NOW!

I love the specs, I hate the body. Don't get me wrong but had I seen one in the store the body would have made me look away. The specs on the actual car.... Ay caramba! A 1/10th with a .21 in it.

Dude that thing looks sweet!!!!!!! But I agree with El, that body is butt ugly. They do have two other body optios available though. So how much are they going for?

Ugly my ass,
That’s the first thing I saw when I opened the thread.
I love it! I guess I won’t be standing in line to get one
.

I've heard the truck body is a piece of poop for aerodynamics. Supposed to be really hard to control at high speeds.

But the specs I dig. Good basher.

Well the street tag is $ 430 American. Thats RETAIL. So it will come in less if your LHS is good to you. It is also an RTR!!

I, like Eddy, like that body a lot! In fact, thats the one I am going to order. That will be my 'chrome' paint job. Since the bodies do not come painted or cut (this is good!). But there are also two others to pick from so you should be good. I really dont think that Schumacher would be factory outfitting a 72mph ride with a poop body either. ESPECIALLY in the aerodynamics department.

I have to find someone who has one. I need to see it run.... The mission is on!

Whoo boy Chris. Parts support may be a problem, but LMK if you get one so I can see it run. :jet:

Eddy - the 'secret' parts are just their hopups. I like the way they named them. Sparks an immediate interest doesn't it? Almost like an evil satanic hym calling your soul Muahahaha!

Check out the 'blade' type CVD's MIP outfits this thing with.

That's not what the magazine said!

3 speed??? I'm wondering how confusing that would be to adjust it. And how long of a straight do you need to get the full potential of the 3 speed???

Well, if I get it, I will be certain to let you know. I'm hoping I can tweek it so it does work well!

May sound weird, but I want this car just for parking lot straights. High speed passes etc..

In the mag it took 3 seconds to get to 60 mph.

Damn christian...you buy r/c cars as much as I buy gas for the 1:1. Don't ever complain about something being TOO expensive. Like the Sirio .21!

I like what the mag said, "0-60 time of just 3.37 seconds- quicker than a real Lamborghini Diablo! It does the deed in 3.5 seconds, and its the worlds quickest production car!"

I think I might have to take it down on race night!

That would be so funny to see. Be like that one movie with the big truck versus the small truck. What was that movie? Ocean's Eleven???
