Hey guys,

I'm curious if anyone here is running the TruckZilla conversion with .46 or knows anyone who is? My buddy was looking at it for an upcoming rock crawling Savage that he's re-building but I can't imgine that it does anything but wheelie.

Peace

TRD Streetfighter is building a Truckzilla kit, don't know what info he can provide you with at this point since I think it is still under construction...........

I think TRD found it for about $100 less than that for the kit without the wheels.........

I agree it would seem that it would weelie all the time...I have a savage with a ofna picco 26 and it weelies all the time on demand with a 53 spur and a 15 clutch bell....

Depends on the gearing, if you are running the 52t spur and a 14 or 15t CB ofcoarse you are going to get wheelies on demand, but what if you switch to the 18t CB??

My order will be coming next week ... $225 w/o wheels....
The Truckzilla was design to power the Massive wheels and longer chasis

Extended chasis
UFO w/ Mayhem wheels

it was not design to run on stock size wheels and chasis
yeah if you use the stock wheels and stock chasis you are going to pull wheelies all the time

That's why I am building a 2nd Savage...
and my total came out to be $430

that why it is called a CONVERSION...
the TRUCKZILLA is BIGGER than the STOCK Savage...

plus like road rage said...
I can easily change the gearing on that so it won't pull wheelies....

but you can also control that by your throttle...
I hope you know that:confused:
with the .46 i don't have to do full throttle all the time....

You try to pull wheelies on a extended chasis and Mayhem tires...

why you may ask I am doing this...
another project...
and seeing if it reasonable to get this kit for $225 and spending another $205

some people my be scared to spend this much and regret it...
that's why I am doing it...
I got money to spend...

maybe this can help people decided......

"should I spend $410 on a Savage 25"
"Should I spend $430 on a Truckzilla"

You'll never know till you or some else will try it....

don't worry 30%NitroBoy... I'll let you know...

but with my WASP 26 and with the UFO Mayhem tires.. i can pull wheelies witha 48T 13T set up... and on stock wheels a 52T 14T I don't pull wheelies.. I ride on my rear bumper.... and that's not even full throttle...

TRD - That sounds like your gonna have one sweet ass ride bro. Assuming you can get the gearing low enough, that should be a mean rock and hill climbing machine. I'll definitley be looking forward to updates bro.

Peace

Damn dude,

That looks like beefy chit. I can't wait to c how she turns out bro. My Maxx will be beefy as hell after X-mas ($2000 later.hehe) but it's not gonna hang with that in terms of power and size..lol. Would also be very curious about the steering radius and general turning??

Peace

TRD dude when you get that all bolted up you know we are totally going to want to see some vids. Looks totally sweet too. Late

i got my savage off this guy and it looks exactly like it has the truckzilla kit but it has the .21bb instead of the .46 (unfortunately)
Do they make a kit w/o the engine
