I just converted the TVP's and motor plate to the XL along with rear shaft. now i need to tweak on the width of the truck, but i dont want to have to buy new A-Arms for the width unless i have too, i really dont know about the suspension upgrades for the XL. is there anything i can do to improve the width of the truck but changing axles or any of that sort?

2 things u can do...

Offset wheels, this would b my route

Or you can buy a set of extended hex's

planned on buying 2 sets of trencher x 3.8s. you think the 1/2" offset would look good with the new XL length. or shall i get adapters also?

It will be a a total of 1" wider with the proline wheels, should be enough u can always add the wider hex down the road

yeah i would assume the extra half on each side would add up handling wise and show. ill try the tires first, get the more expensive/useful parts out of the way

and on top of that, i need to get these ugly ass savage stock rims gone!

Can you point me in the direction of the wider hexes? I just bought the same kit and may want to look at a wider stance also.

griff, look at the new post of my savage converted, i bought some offset tires and rims combo, with them, there is no need at all for the hex's

I appreciate it but would prefer the hex extensions, I have some barely used maximizer rims along with zombie tires and would rather buy the extensions then new rims and wheels. your truck looks sweet and maybe tomorrow I can convert my tvps.

well in that case, dont go along with what i said! would save a lot of money just converting to the hex's

Look at the post in my sig. On the last page (or relatively close to it) there is a link for the warlock extenders. You'll still want to get the XL axles if you want width though
