I am wondering if any companies make just the steel spur gear?
All I found was the robinson racing gear combo which included the clutch bell.
can anyone help
thanks
chris

Chugger,
I am still waiting for others to comment on your question, I have the same issue, I do not need the combo, only the spur gear.
:p:

well damn.
I'm still researching but all i find is the combo.
Does anyone make a 12t clutchbell.

if you check on savage central store.. they make a vented steal 49T spur gear from GPM.....

TRD, I thought that was Ti. Maybe it was another spur that was.

have you guys tried that spur? cause it already stripped 2 of my clutchbells one 15t and 13t. am using my plastic 52t spur which works perfect. just left the ti spur in the toolbox...

I'm running a RRP steel spur and have busted 1 16t CB with it. The CB did have some time on it and was probably ready to go anyway. I run the slipper 1/8th turn out and beat on my truck pretty hard, so that might also be a factor.

i think i will just stay with the plastic. Because even if I bash my truck very hard, i barely see any wear on both gears. somebody said that the ti spur doesn't match the pitch of the savage cb. :flaming:

Hmm, the Savage spur and CB are pretty much standard. Matter of fact, I was running a Duratrax CB with both the stock spur and the RRP spur. They're all 48 pitch. Some are just better than others. Titanium is alot harder than steel, so that might cause more wear on the CB. I'd love to try one at any rate.

hope that you get a good result. keep us posted. thnx.... mine really did nothing but strip my cb's whatever adjustment i make. like tight or loose, or just right. it just won't work.... bad for me.... have to stick with the plastic one. 30 tanks on my plastic spur and it only had very very very little wear on it. :) good luck man! :)
