Got that but Google is no help

I was thinking a Redcat, but I have looked around quite a bit and I'm not finding anything. The battery hold down doesn't look original.

So @JezHall, maybe pull that off and take a few pics of it. Straight down, and a couple different angles. Maybe Google Lens can identify that part at least.

Then if you could remove everything from the chassis so we can Lens that, maybe we can get some results. Top and bottom views would be good.

I have the car with me now. Looks like the centre bar has been cut down (The servo side) Google not helping......

It's an HSP 1/10 4x4 something. They used the same chassis for buggies, monster trucks, sedans, rally cars, etc. Judging by the tires, this is probably a rally car? But you could make it into anyone of those combinations by swapping a few parts.

Redcat, Exceed, VRX and several other "distributors" rebranded them and sold them under different model names. They're not copies or clones, they all come from the same factory and are all made by HSP. Redcat still sells cars using this chassis, one of which being the Volcano EPX. You should be able to get parts for this very easily still. This one not having the aluminum chassis braces and towers is odd, but not uncommon, but it's still the same car. Just a lower spec model.

Edit: I found it. More specifically a Redcat Sandstorm/HSP Breaker. till based off of the same chassis as the ones mentioned above. But, this one uses the plastic parts in lieu of the aluminum ones from the looks of it.

Thats brilliant. Thank you.

I can now continue my expensive hobby of rescuing worthless cars and spending far too much on them.......!

No RC car is completely worthless. But some of the Redcat bashers are probably pretty close.
