Just wondering if anyone is having problems with thier wheel nuts loosening? I always perform PMCS prior to and after running our trucks and have noticed the wheel nuts tend to loosen, even after re-tightening. One loosened up so quickly while driving that it stripped out the inside of the wheel and rounded out the nylon wheel hub on the axle. No, this isn't from failure to check before driving(see above PMCS).
Any advice and/or suggestions would be greatly appriciated.

I haven't had any issues with my Revo as of yet.
I will suggest that you get some new wheel nuts.
Get nylon lock nuts. They can wear out if you remove them a lot.

Rolex,
Its time to give in dude.
Sorry to do this to you.

candyman was right, that would be a Revo.
I'm picking up some new locknuts, but have any of you tried any of the AM type aluminum hub assemblies?

I used them on my T-Maxx.
Whey will give you a more solid backing when you tighten the wheel nut. I don't think they are necessary but they aren't going to hurt.

Well mine always losen after an hour or two of running. I just pull my truck up, check all for corners and I am good to go. I also tighten my wheel nuts before and after my runs. Seems to haapen more with the bigger MT tires and very small wheel nuts. I had the same problem with my buggies just not as bad as MT tires. Now if they losen immediately do as Ed said, get some new ones as the plastic inside the lock nut is done.

Hey, it was early.......the caffeine hadn't kicked in yet.

FastEddy, thanks for that link, but I couldn't read it yet. Maybe I need glasses.

In each hour of running I checked mine but they have never backed off. In fact, I was surprised when I checked all visible chassis nuts and bolts and the only ones that were even more than 1/4 loose were the ones on the bumpers! I have a friend that when he bought a brand new HPI MT4 he was losing nuts and bolts all over the place even just breaking it in!
