Just curious, I would like to find some good places to runn my T Maxxs but havent been able to. I was from Greenwood, now live in Cumberland. They are starting to build a whole new part to my subdivision so that is where I been running, but really no good.

Gutterboy where is Cumberland? I think I've heard of it before, but can't think of a place on the mapw where it is.

I'm located in Bloomington which is about 40-50mins south of Indy.

Woodie, it is in Indianapolis, going towards Greenfield. I know where Bloomington is, I have a friend that lives in Spencer. When I lived in Greenwood I would take 37 all they way till you get to Elletsville/Spencer exit. If you keep going straight you should end up in Bloomington, right. I say I am about 45mins to 1 hour from Bloomington, any good spots your way.

gutterboy,

Yes your correct - take 37 south till you reach 46, turn right and you'll be going to Spencer, turn left and your in Bloomington.

As far as places to bash, there are no tracks here in Bloomington, in fact the closest track I've found so far is up in Indy. It's indoors and a very nice looking track, actually very large for an indoor track. The place is called Planet Raceway, or Planet RC Raceway. I haven't raced there yet cause I've only been there like twice.

The only thing Bloomington has going for it in terms of R/C is construction sites. Being that the IU campus is so large everyone and their mother are doing some type of construction, mainly houseing complexes and those tend to be pretty good places to bash.

Other then that, I've heard that the far north end of Indiana, by Chicago has some really sweet tracks.

Add Muncie to the pot! There is an outdoor track in Lynn. Ill try to find the link.

Cool, just found an indoor track that WoodiE turned me to but they dont run nitro anymore. All they run is electric. It aint that bad of a track if you get into electric.

The nearest track to me is the one in Tinley Park. Can't wait till next summer.

I missed this thread somehow. Anyway, Wood have you been to the place down in Jackson County near Camp Atterbury? I think it somehthing like Indianapolis Off Road RC Club. I know you get off at the Edinburgh exit. There's also a track at the Hobby Barn in Terre Haute that I haven't been able to make it to yet. I'm just about done waterproofing my Revo so I might go play in the snow tomorrow. BTW RC Dad that track in Tinly looks nice if it's the one I think it is. I know my family is gonna be pissed when I show up at home with a couple RC's and head out there. Hobbytown in Greenwood is planning on parking lot races again this spring/summer. Anyone want to get together sometime drop me a line, I travel a lot for work but would like to try and set something up.

That's what I've heard. I think they have practice times also which is something I really need.

I think I fiannaly found a hobby store within 15 minutes of where I live!

How do you deal with that drive everyday, unless you work off shifts. I'd be swallow some steel if I had to do that! :) How much snow did you get? I just have one thing left to do to my Revo and it should be ready to go in the snow!

I take the train, no way would I drive in and out of the loop. We didn't get that much, it really just covered the ground. Cold as hell today though.
